Join ASCLA for a San Francisco treat! April 23 – 30, 2014

Windows of Southern France

This is the fourth fundraising trip hosted by ASCLA, a division of ALA. This adventure is open to the library community and their friends and family; there are no membership requirements in order to participate. Bring your spouses, siblings and friends along!

Travelers will arrive in San Francisco on April 23, 2014 and tour the award-winning San Jose Public Library/San Jose State University, a public and university library combined into a single building, Monterey, Carmel, Pebble Beach, Big Sur, selected Napa Valley wineries, the Franciscan vineyards and Chandon. You will also tour the San Francisco Public Library which is well known for their accessibility and programs and services for people with disabilities, including a Deaf Services Center, a library for blind and print disabled at the main library, assistive technology workstations, and their new teen center. Also on the itinerary is a tour of Alcatraz.

Trip Cost: $2,189 plus airfare. Participants are responsible for their own airfare.

A portion of the trip’s proceeds benefits ASCLA.

Deposits in the amount of $500 are due by December 1, 2014, with the balance due February 23, 2014.
