If there’s one thing we here at ASCLA love, it’s staying in touch with you. As a member of ASCLA, we keep you informed of what’s going on with our division, and also pass along information about activities within ALA that are relevant to your work life. That’s why it’s critical that we have the most up-to-date contact information for you in our membership database. A current e-mail address is particularly important, because the majority of communication sent out from the office is in electronic form.
That said, we’re asking you to kick off fall with a quick review of your membership information. Here are your options for conducting your review:
Personal members can do their update online at www.ala.org; just click on the following link to access the login page:http://www.ala.org/Template.cfm?Section=login&template=/security/universalentry.cfm Once logged in, click on “Update your profile” to make changes to your contact information.
Personal members can also do updates by contacting Member & Customer Service at 1-800-545-2433, option 5. Personal member profile changes can also be e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “Update my profile”, and your new information and member ID in the body of the message.
Organizational members must contact Member & Customer Service in order to update their information. Call the team at 1-800-545-2433, and press option 5. You can also email your profile changes to email@example.com with the subject line “Update my profile”, and your new information and member ID in the body of the message.
Remember, having your most current contact information on file allows us to serve you better and get the most value out of your ASCLA and ALA membership!
