The purpose of this wiki is to provide a forum for members or anyone else interested in the Association of Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies (ASCLA) or information and resources pertaining to state library agencies, libraries serving special populations, multitype library organizations and independent librarians to contribute content that reflects the knowledge and expertise of our diverse membership. Anyone who is able to contribute information specifically related to what this wiki is about is invited to participate.

To foster the best possible experience for all, ASCLA respectfully requests that its visitors and contributors honor the following code of conduct. There are only a few basic rules:

  • No content unrelated to ASCLA, ASCLA projects or committee work, library service pertaining to state library agencies, libraries serving special populations, multitype library organizations and independent librarians
  • Those who edit and post information are expected to check facts, cite sources, present balanced views, acknowledge and correct errors, and check spelling and grammar before posting
  • No personal attacks, flaming or defamatory remarks about other people
  • No advertisements or spam
  • No politics
  • No organizing boycotts


Content violating these rules will be removed.
